Gravette is a quiet friendly town, population about 2000, nestled in the northwest corner of Arkansas. Located just 17 miles west of Bentonville at the junction of state highways 72 and 59.

Founded as a city in 1893 by Ellis Tillman Gravett, it has grown from a primarily farming community to include manufacturing and services. The Gravette School system has a large enrollment. A new high school of contemporary design is located east of the City on Highway 72 and was dedicated early in September 2006.
