March 27 to April 3, 2010

New Vaccination Rules in Effect Mean Reduced Rates for Pet Vaccinations

The Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) is partnering with local veterinarians for the Benton County Rabies Clinic Week 2010.  On March 27th through April 3rd, participating veterinarian offices will be offering the rabies vaccination for dogs and cats at reduced rates.  Some veterinarians will also be conducting “walk-up” clinics throughout Benton County.  Many veterinarians will also offer regular vaccinations at reduced rates at the “walk up” clinics.   It is Arkansas state law to have dogs and cats vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian
