in sometime and will allow for better emergency medical service for our citizens
and surrounding area. There will be many new jobs created with this investment. POLICE

Department has hired a second resource officer to support the Gravette School
District. He is now on duty. This allows a police officer to be at the high school
campus and one at the lower grade campus off of 6th Ave. SE. NEW
WATER TOWER The new water tower and
connecting lines are scheduled to begin construction on February 25, 2008.
SEWER SYSTEM McGoodwin,
Williams, & Yates has locked into a low 2.7% interest rate loan for the new
sewer system improvements. They are researching the three different methods for
meeting the latest sewer requirements. NEW
CITY HALL
Gravette
City Hall has relocated to the old Arvest Bank Building at 604 First Ave. SE.,
(Highway 59). There is now a drive up window for making payments. A night deposit
box is also available for after hours payments. We hope this helps to serve the
citizens better. The city has added street
lights at the east end of Main St., in the area of the new high school. We are
also adding street lights on Persimmon St. SW. This will help give better safety
and security to home owners and traffic. OTHER

from Gravette Post 117 looking for a community project to complete. If any readers

way to the state semifinals. Many players and coaches have received state honors.
It was the best season the Lions have ever had! Gravette is so proud and it will
be a season long remembered. My wife,
