JUNE 09, 2005.Next Tuesday, June 14, our Summer Reading Program begins for children going into grades Pre-K through 6th Grade in the fall semester. This is a once-a-week, 8-week summer program, the purpose of which is to help children maintain, or improve, their skills and interest in reading.

If you wish to enroll your child, please visit the Gravette Public Library, at 407 Charlotte Street S.E. in Gravette, to register before Tuesday. Or, you can call the library at 787-6955 to pre-register.

If you cannot register your children before Tuesday, please come in between 9:00 and 9:15 that morning. There is a small amount of information we need for the registration, a permission slip we will ask you to approve or decline for your child to be videotaped or photographed, and a free library membership for your participating child/children.

Parents are most welcome to stay throughout the sessions. When you register your child, or on the first day of our sessions, please let us know if you would like to volunteer to assist with the sessions. Your help with our activities and crafts will be greatly appreciated.

It’s Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds beginning next Tuesday.
