  At the Gravette Public Library

by  Vivian J Lamb

MARCH 23, 2005 ....Radine Trees Nehring, Gravette Author, was on hand at the library last Thursday in the late afternoon, to autograph and personalize her latest book, “A Treasure To Die For,” for her Gravette area audience. We have a supply of these books at the library, all of which have been autographed, which the author will personalize per your instructions. They are $16.00 each. If you need a copy of one of the earlier books, “Music to Die For, A Valley to Die For, or Dear Earth,” please let us know at the library and we can obtain them for you.

We still have some very good books for sale, the most expensive of which is $3.00, others at $2.00 and $1.00. Don’t forget to look at the paperbacks we are offering, which are free.

Our Local Artist this month is Opal Leonard, who has on display some watercolors and pastels. It has been two years now that we have been displaying the work of local artists. It is such an enhancement to the library I can’t imagine going back to a blank wall.

Most of our local artists are students of Susan Edgmon; however, we would like to invite others to display their talents as well. To date we have displayed paintings of all types, photographs, and handmade rugs. If you believe your art can be hung in our gallery space, please call the library at 787-6955 to make arrangements.
