The Gravette Public Library will be offering a Basic Computer Class for anyone
who is interested in learning how to use a computer. All you need to be able to
take the class is a library membership. A library membership for a resident of
the Gravette School District is only $2.00 a person or $5.00 for the whole family.
If you are a non-resident, it is only $10.00 per person for a membership. If you
would be interested in enrolling in the computer class, please stop by the library
at 407 Charlotte Street, SE or call us at 479-787-6955. The date and time of the
class will be scheduled at a later date.
The Gravette Public Library
has a â€For Sale€ room just for you. It has new materials
and used materials for sale. All proceeds goes to the Library Commission for future
use in the Library. We have books, videos, and audios for sale. If you would like
to learn more about supporting your local library, please come by the library
or call us.
The Gravette Public Library currently has a position open for
a Part-Time Library Clerk. This position serves the public with library needs
under the direction of the Library Manager. Applicants must possess a high school
diploma or GED. They should have basic computer and Internet skills. This position
shelves material, is frequently required to lift and move up to 25 pounds, handles
circulation of materials, assists patrons with computer use and location of materials,
also opens and closes the library as needed. This position normally works approximately
20 hours each week including evenings and Saturdays. You must be able to work
