  At the Gravette Public Library

By Kjmberley Gibson

Maay 16,2007 The Gravette Public Library will be hosting a Summer Reading Program beginning on June 12 and ending on July 31, 2007. It will be held every Tuesday (except July 3) from 10:30am-12:00pm for ages: birth to 12th grade. The theme this year is “Get a Clue”. Everyone loves a good mystery. We will be having a city wide Mystery hunt sponsored by some of Gravette’s local businesses.
During the first two weeks of the Summer Reading Program, the library will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair. There will be books for all ages from birth to adult. Please save your pennies and help the Gravette Public Library by purchasing books at the Scholastic Book Fair. It will be available to the public on June 11 until June 20, 2007. The book fair will be open the same hours as the library is open. The library is open Monday-Friday 9-5:30, Thursdays 9-8, and Saturdays 9-2.
On the last week of the Summer Reading Program we will have a huge celebration. We will be giving away prizes to those who have participated. We will have games, food, and fun, fun, fun. There will be a special surprise. We can not tell you because it is a MYSTERY!
We will be having early enrollment starting May 29, at the Gravette Library. We encourage everyone to enroll early for the Summer Reading Program. It will not only save you time but will help the library. We hope to see everyone, both young and old at the library this summer.
