Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program for Pre-K - 6th grade kids will begin Wednesday, June 9th, and continue every Wednesday for 6 weeks! Time is 9am - 11am.

Radine Nehring Book Signing

Radine Nehring will be at the library signing her books on Friday, June 11 from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Schneider-Boldt Union

On Friday afternoon, April 2, Kim Boldt of Gravette became the bride of David P. Schneider of Bentonville.

Family and friends attended the ceremony that was officiated by Bill Adams in the home of Rick and Debby Weineke of Hiwasse.

Mrs. Weineke is the Executive Director of Benton County Habitat for Humanity. The couple met through that agengy.

The bride is the mother of Jeff and Parker Boldt and the daughter of Gary and Carolyn Kasson of Rogers. She is the manager of the Gravette Public Library.

The groom is the father of Sean and Jamie Schneider and son of Harold and Wanda Schneider of Bella Vista. He is the manager of Restore of Benton County Habitat for Humanity.

A reception followed the ceremony which was organized by the Weineke family, Deborah Stock and staff of Habitat for Humanity. The couple honeymooned at Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Boys and Girls Club Helpers-help paint curb in front of library

Lending a Helping Hand

Boys and Girls Club participants recently provided a community service to the Gravette Public Library. Pictured left, are few volunteers that painted the curb in front of the library to make it more visible and presentable to library patrons.

We appreciate their help and thank them for a job well done.

Debra Meek has resigned her position as Library Clerk. Debra has been a great asset to our library and we will miss her. Our new clerk is Sherri Hoover. Please make Sherri feel welcome by saying hello and introducing yourself to her the next time you visit the library.

With the help of the Gravette Community Foundation, the Gravette Public Library was able to receive a grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation for the amount of $10,000. The money MUST be used for building repairs and maintenance.

 



We would like to acknowledge the Gravette Lions Club for their monetary donation to go towards visually impaired materials (Large Print Books and Audios). They have been a contributor the past couple of years. Their help is greatly appreciated.
